About Us
The historic Midway Bar is the longest running bar in Ironwood -- having opened its doors for the first time in 1918. Located quite literally "mid-way" between Ironwood, Michigan and Hurley, Wisconsin; this homey saloon has been a central watering hole and gathering space for both communities since its inception.

Under our current ownership and management, our unified mission is to revive the Midway's original spirit. The lounge has been restored to its old charm; returning its historic character and providing a warm, elegant atmosphere in this classic neighborhood haunt. We hope to transport our guests to the past with timeless music, cocktails, and dishes.
We strive to uphold the Midway's consistent reputation for friendly, attentive service and hearty food made with care. In addition to carrying the torch, our team brings curated eclectic musical experiences to this current incarnation of the Midway. Our stage is a platform for both local and traveling musicians to connect with the community.
